Conversion Optimization & User Testing Specialist

3-5 years of experience in conversion optimization, user testing, or a related field, with e-commerce experience.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Conversion Optimization & User Testing Specialist with expertise in e-commerce to join our team. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the unique challenges in online retail and leverages data-driven insights to refine the user journey. You’ll focus on strategies that enhance product page performance, streamline checkout processes, and improve conversion rates across our e-commerce websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Page Optimization
    • Analyze and optimize product pages to improve key elements like descriptions, images, customer reviews, and calls-to-action.
    • Implement strategies that enhance product discoverability and the effectiveness of upselling and cross-selling.
  2. Cart and Checkout Process Optimization
    • Simplify and refine the checkout process to minimize cart abandonment, reduce form fields, and integrate diverse payment methods.
    • Implement user-friendly features like guest checkout and auto-fill for repeat customers.
  3. Customer Journey Mapping
    • Map and analyze the customer journey across different touchpoints, identifying areas to reduce friction and improve upsell opportunities.
    • Develop strategies that increase engagement and streamline the journey from browsing to purchase.
  4. Mobile Optimization
    • Ensure a seamless mobile shopping experience that is responsive and conversion-focused, reducing friction for mobile users. 
    • Monitor mobile KPIs and optimize the mobile interface to maximize conversions.
  5. Personalization and Recommendations
    • Develop tailored recommendations, dynamic content, and targeted promotions to increase the average order value and boost customer satisfaction. 
    • Leverage demographic, behavioral, and historical data to align personalization strategies with different audience segments.
  6. SEO for E-commerce
    • Optimize category and product pages for search engines to increase organic traffic and drive conversions. 
    • Implement strategies that improve website visibility and drive conversions.
  7. A/B Testing for E-commerce
    • Design and manage A/B tests that focus on pricing strategies, delivery information, and payment methods. 
    • Evaluate test results to refine the customer journey and improve overall performance.
  8. Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with marketing, inventory management, and logistics teams to align conversion goals with broader business operations. 
    • Share insights that help shape product strategy and customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in CRO or digital marketing roles, with a proven track record in e-commerce. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.). 
  • Proficiency with A/B testing tools and methodologies. 
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles for e-commerce. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
